Gegründet im März 2009 von Markus Schmidt-Märkl, mit Josef Bachmeier entstand bald eine festere Zusammenarbeit, Michael Koch und Ulli Goderbauer ergänzten kurz darauf die Band, im Oktober 2009 stieß Christoph Naleppa dazu.

Ziel war es, eine Mischung aus Chilligem, Jazz und Worldmusic zu machen, die Bandbreite geht von afrikanischen Grooves bis zu lyrischen Balladen, im Vordergrund standen von Anfang an eigene Ideen und Stücke.
